SYNOPSIS OF TEXTS 1 TO 9

1. A SPECK OF DUST

A text on the eye and heart: one needs to look at things and beings with the

combined vision that tells you anything and anyone are specks of dust and

universes at the same time

2. RICHARD AND RUTH

This text is on the ones without hope. Look at Richard's eyes, feel his sadness,

know what it is to be a nonentity. Now look at what he could have done to drag

himself from himself and give himself a real need of life.

3. FINGLEHEIM

He is a genius of simplicity. See how he tricks his class into understanding an

important method of research and living.

He knows why a mystery is a mystery, and why simplicity points in the direction

of comprehension, and how a repeated search can lead you into discovering new

aspects of reality. If you were Fingleheim, how would you submit his method?

4. JIMI

A king who forgot to see things as specks of dust and a child who had no one to

turn to when he needed help. Watch the way they watch him suffer. His greatest

blunder was trying to be someone else, which is not a crime. He looks back and do

you think he knows why he cracked?

5. MISS GREENLANE

She has a flea that bothers her, and she is the kind of person that will find out

where it comes from. Watch her becoming human again. She has not spent

twentyseven years being a machine to be shortcircuited by a rose ... or has she

... ? In fact, all the encyclopaedias in the world could not answer her question.

6. MR. GREGORY RAWLINGS’ DISCOVERY

The experience of an office employee, emprisoned in his daily work routines.

Despite the frenzy of his professional activity, his heart longs for the touch of life.

See how he discovers it in a speck of dust. Read how the smile he discovers not

only brings happiness to him, but in a shared dialogue also brings a meaningful

harmony with his colleague and working environment.

7. PRIVATE SEAN REILLY

What power does a gun or a sword give a man? Why does it give him power? And

how should he use it? Does unity have to be conditional?

Look at these two boys: their hearts oblige them to stop. Their fear is stronger or

weaker than their love?

Who is he? Is he you? Or any one? Anywhere?

What kind of smoke does one want to smell? The smoke of the gun or the scent of

an old log fire warming one's toes and heart?

8. Dr. FURBISHER

Furbisher, the conquerer.

Furbisher, the child.

Furbisher, the idealist.

Furbisher, the fool.

Furbisher, the monster.

They would call him many more names besides, but is he a conquerer? A child?

An idealist? A fool? A monster?

No matter what they will call him, he has very strong lights that he wants

anyone to see and understand.

Will he succeed or fail?

9. WHO'S DONE IT ?

What is the answer to all our questioning ? When we have found answers what is

their status? Can their being receive another sense in the light of a new WHY?

Ask yourself and see whether a question can be an answer.
