APPROACH |
Sean is a time traveller.
He is from any time and from anywhere.
He might be Horace, El Cid, David, Hamlet, you , or I.
Why?
In front of the decision of life or death,
What would you feel?
What does Sean
feel?
Sean is watching: for what ?
Sean is wary: about what ?
Sean is frightened: by what ?
Sean sees a young
man cowering in a corner: what does he think?
Why doesn't he
kill the young man immediately?
“The two boys looked, feeling nothing but the pang of their hearts.”
Why is it strange, at this point, that they feel no fear?
Why did they not feel hatred?
Why did they feel just the
pang of their hearts?
They both ask the same question: “Why?”
They both think they like the same things.
Is it:
because they see the humanity in each other?
because they are tired of an eternal war?
perhaps
for other reasons?
